Before anything else

Most problems involve the network, mainnet funds, or stale account sessions.

  • Check your network. DETF uses Sepolia testnet (EVM) and Solana devnet. Mainnet settings cause failed transactions or missing balances.
  • Use test funds only. Never send mainnet assets to DETF contracts. Get Sepolia ETH from a public faucet.
  • Refresh after switching accounts. Reload after changing your wallet extension's active account to update the session.

Wallet issues

Check wallet routing, balances and signature requests here.

  • "The wrong wallet pops up." Disconnect both in Settings; reconnect your preferred wallet first. Normally, the app routes transactions to the correct wallet automatically.
  • "My balance shows zero." Check Sepolia/devnet and your default account in wallet settings. Multiple accounts per chain are supported; the default selects which the app uses.
  • "I'm asked to sign a message." Free sign-in, not a transaction; it cannot move funds. It proves wallet ownership for profile edits or airdrop claims.

Migrations & claims

Deposits are irreversible with exit at NAV always open; failed claims usually involve snapshots or linking.

  • "My deposit didn't sell." After migration finalises, claim unsold tokens on the group page under the default Return policy. See Deposit & Sell.
  • "I want out of a migration." Deposits are one-way, but you already hold the new token; redeem it anytime for your treasury share. See treasury & exit.
  • "My airdrop claim fails." Use the wallet that held the old token at the snapshot block. For social-bot airdrops, first link your Telegram/Discord account to the claiming wallet.

Governance

Proposal access and token voting depend on your tier when the proposal opened.

  • "I can't create a treasury proposal." Treasury and execution proposals require founders (Tier 1). Other tiers can propose governance where DETF tier rules allow.
  • "My tokens don't count in a vote." Weight is snapshotted at proposal creation. Later acquisitions count only for future proposals.
  • "How do I join a higher tier?" The lowest tier is self-serve; the DETF grants higher tiers. Ask in its group chat.

Still stuck? Escalate

Group chat is fastest; email handles account-specific or private issues.

Include your wallet address (never your seed phrase!), DETF and transaction hash, if available:

  • Group chat — every group's Chat tab is open to everyone and reaches its team and members; forum posting requires membership.
  • contact@detf.com — for account-specific issues or anything you prefer not to post publicly.
  • Telegram @DETFcomBOT — link your account to reach us in chat.
Stay safe: DETF never DMs first, asks for seed phrases or asks you to "validate" wallets elsewhere. Anyone doing so is a scammer.
